Owning the season you're in with grace starts here...

Hi beautiful,
I taught recently on Mary and Martha, and it has stayed with me because it keeps showing up in real life. I keep seeing women trying to live with one posture in a season that requires another.
Some seasons are Martha seasons. There is work to do, responsibilities to carry, and assignments that require your hands and your focus. Those seasons are not “less spiritual.” They are often the very places where obedience is proven, where consistency is built, and where God teaches us how to steward what He has entrusted to us.
Other seasons include Mary moments. They may come quietly, sometimes even unexpectedly. They feel like an invitation to come closer, to slow down, to sit at His feet long enough to be replenished, re-centered, and reminded of what matters most. These moments are rarely convenient, but they are often necessary.
Here is the revelation I want you to hold this week.
Mary moments replenish what Martha moments require and neither posture is "wrong".
If we keep pushing past the invitation to sit with Him, we eventually feel it. It shows up as dryness, irritability, confusion, and fatigue that sleep alone does not fix.
Many women in my community are experiencing that right now, and it is why Deep Wells and Empty Cups has resonated the way it has. Some of us did not realize how empty we were until we finally slowed down long enough to pay attention.
So I want to ask you two simple questions, and I want you to answer them honestly.
What season am I in right now?
What posture does this season require from me?
If you are in a Martha season, ask the Lord for grace to work with steadiness and joy, and for wisdom to keep your priorities in order. If you are in a Mary moment, honor it fully. Sit long enough to receive what you need, because your life and your assignments will require it!
If you want to start Deep Wells and Empty Cups, or return to it again, you can do that here:
And if you want the replay of the Mary and Martha video teaching, reply to this email and simply say, “Replay.” and I'll send it to you.
Grace and peace,
